Rules for using the committee's website

The alhalal.org website is run by Halal committee through its operating legal entity Halal Latvia SIA. Using the website means you accept these terms.

• The terms apply to all visitors.
• If you do not accept the terms – stop using the website.
• Contractual relationships with the committee are formalised in a separate document.

Materials on the website are informational and do not replace the committee's legally binding documents.

• Certificates and acts are issued separately under committee procedure.
• Articles and news are not an offer and do not create contractual obligations.

All texts, graphics and the AL·HALAL mark are published on defined terms.

• Quoting with attribution to alhalal.org is permitted.
• Commercial use of the AL·HALAL mark is permitted only under a contract.
• Use of partner logos requires the rights holder's consent.

The website is provided "as is". We expect good-faith use from every visitor.

• No automated attacks, scraping without consent or bypassing protection.
• No impersonation of the committee, its chairman or an inspector.
• No use of materials to mislead consumers.

The committee maintains its materials in good faith but does not warrant completeness or freedom from error.

• Certification decisions are made after audit, not on the basis of the website.
• External links are provided for convenience; the committee is not responsible for their content.

Relations are governed by the law of the Republic of Latvia and the legislation of the European Union. Disputes are resolved at the operator's registered seat.

• The committee may amend the terms; the date of the current edition is shown above.
• Material changes are published no later than 14 days before entry into force.
